This directory contains the Fuzzball distribution disk images, courtesy of Dave Mills of the University of Delaware. *DO*NOT* bother him for support. RT-11 is normally required to build and boot Fuzzball. Be sure to use image mode (that is, binary) to retrieve these files. There's an image of a self-booting RL01 Fuzzball pack in /pub/e11/fuzzball on this host. This directory contains gzipped versions of the Fuzzball distribution disk images (for use with LD:) as received from the author. The subdirectories bos, fuzz1, fuzz2, and fuzz3 contain all the files from each disk image in BINARY form, ready for Kermiting to your PDP-11 in binary mode (note that even the text files are binary copies so they contain CRs and NULs and may look funny under UNIX). The contents of the subdirectories are identical to what's in the disk images (bos,fuzz1,fuzz2,fuzz3).dsk.gz, there is NO REASON to download BOTH! The "dbit" subdirectory contains D Bit modifications to make Fuzzball work with dates after 01-Jan-2000, and also contains a Fuzzball driver for E11's HD: disk device. fuzz.pdf is an Adobe Acrobat version of fuzz.ps.gz. It's a lot smaller, and evidently ghostscript has problems with fuzz.ps, so if you have the ability to read Acrobat files then fuzz.pdf is the better choice. The document is identical either way.
