This directory contains a demo version of the Ersatz-11 PDP-11 simulator
for PCs running DOS, Win32, Linux, or nothing at all, by John Wilson.

Files:

install.exe	self-installing archive of Ersatz-11 V5.3 Demo (DOS version)

winstall.exe	INSTALL.EXE program for Ersatz-11 V5.3 Demo (Win32 version)
		(New post-V5.3 native Win32 console installer)

winstall.exe.orig  Original V5.3 Windows installer -- same files as
		winstall.exe but the installer itself is a DOS program
		(works OK on 32-bit systems but Win64 drops DOS support)

e11demo.ps	Postscript version of the Adobe Acrobat documentation
		file contained in install.exe

e11wdemo.ps	Postscript version of the Adobe Acrobat documentation
		file contained in winstall.exe

e11sdemo.ps	Postscript version of the Adobe Acrobat documentation
		file contained in sinstall.exe

e11.tar.gz	GZIPped TAR archive of Ersatz-11/Linux V5.3 Demo
		Unpack with:

			zcat e11.tar.gz | tar xvf -

		Or maybe:

e11ldemo.ps	Postscript version of the Adobe Acrobat documentation
		file contained in e11.tar.gz

sinstall.exe	INSTALL.EXE program for Ersatz-11 V5.3 Demo (stand-alone
		version with FAT file system support).  Type "SYS E11.SYS A:"
		to make a boot floppy (also works on hard drives, or USB drives
		if SYS is run on a Windows system).  Drive must be FAT12/16/32.

drivers		subdirectory containing OS drivers used by E11

fuzzball	subdirectory containing an experimental bootable Fuzzball pack

lunar		subdirectory with VT11 lunar lander program by Jack Burness

vt100.ini	init file to make E11 act as a plain VT100
vt100.pdp	simple program loaded by VT100.INI
